Well as you know after the amazing success of the Indian Darkhorse raffle, selling out of tickets in just 7 weeks, unbelievable support guys!! We decided to hold the draw a little earlier than advertised and drew ticket number ‘3643 ‘on white’ The lucky winner was Roz from Lincolnshire, a proud ex RAF service woman and an avid all year round, legion rider, was ‘In a daze when I found out, I’m only just coming around now, it’s amazing! ‘

Roz travelled across some, very wet and windy southern counties in the early hours of Monday morning to be at Thor Motorcycles (Bodmin) bright and early to meet up with Andy (BBRF Founder). Colin (Owner of Thor) & all the rest of the Thor team for the presentation of her prize.

Andy was waiting there for her, with a big hug (dirty old sod that he is lol) Flowers, chocolates and a bottle of Champagne too, which Roz refused to share ‘This is going on a lovely girly night, I really didn’t expect all this ‘Roz said.
After a few cups of well needed ‘Splosh ‘and of course a damn good natter, we went outside to present her with the amazing Indian Darkhorse ‘I just don’t know what to say, it just doesn’t seem real ‘I really can’t believe I’ve won a brand-new bike for just £5 ‘Roz exclaimed.

Now there’s a further chapter to this story. Roz being, in her own words ‘ A little short Ass ‘ and just over ‘ 5ft 1 & ¾ in her boots’ couldn’t however hard she tried , ride the Darkhorse. ‘It’s beautiful, but a big old bit of metal, It’s just too tall and wide for me ‘ So she, asked if we could do anything to help her to maybe exchange the bike for one that she could ride and enjoy all year round, on her suggestion an Indian Scout.

Of course, we wanted to help if we could but obviously in our t&c’s we say, ‘No cash prize or alternative’. However, I know none of us, including Roz, would want to win a brand-new Indian, only for it to sit in the garage and never be ridden. So, as a complete one off and never to be repeated, and to help Roz’s dream come true of a new Indian, we arranged for her take away the bike she wished for, a brand-new Indian Scout. Roz was so happy that she had got a bike she could ride for miles all year round ‘ I know you didn’t have to swap the prize bike but I just can’t believe how helpful and wonderful you’ve all been , this is amazing, thank you so, so much ’.
Well Roz, we’re just so happy for you and huge congratulations to her, we couldn’t be more chuffed that you won, she’s just a lovely, lovely lady.
